Maryland Masters

Maryland Master's HomepageWeb Design & ProgrammingXHTML, CSS, & JavaScript

I was given the opportunity to redesign the Maryland's Masters swimming site. The design came from their crab mascot and the color scheme was based off this and the indoor swimming pool.

I combined five pages into one since there wasn't a lot of info on each page and then used javascript to display small bits of information at a time.

Chief of Naval Operations

Web Programming XHTML & CSS

We created two pages that would fit within the frameset of Navy.mil. I was responsible for the white space portion of the webpage.

Knowing that the programming I was doing was going into another page, all styling was done via inline styles. This way we could ensure the webpage would look accurate and not default to any of the Navy.mil cascading stylesheets.

I worked with Brett Karpowicz for the graphics. Although our customer didn't know what they wanted, they wanted us to duplicate the look of a brochure that they had already created. From there Brett created the graphics to mimic the material provided us.

Roadrunner6.net

Web Design and Programing PHP, MySQL, XHTML, CSS, & Adobe Flash

This is my wife's homework website.

Beyond the homepage that parents and students access, I built a user area that allow her to log-in, add, modify and delete assignments and messages through the use of PHP and HTML forms.

One issue I dealt with was coming up with a character that represented a Roadrunner but did not look identical to "the Roadrunner."
